On my needles...

I have been knitting lately!!! I don't know if it's the impression that it won't be possible in a few weeks or just because I need to relax. One thing I know is that I am presently fairly productive. I just received some new yarn Cascade 220 in Irelande green heather courtoisie of the post woman! And I am planning on knitting the lady february sweater with it. The only problem is that I can't find size 5 needles anywhere!!!

Instead I started (and finished) this lovely scarf last week. I loove the result and the yarn (Berroco peruvia Avocado) is amazingly soft and warm. I have been wearing this aaaall week-end, thank god it was cold! Did I mention my love for green?

I am also working on a little vest from Stefanie Japel from the book Fitted Knits which also happens to be a free ravelry download. Ravel it! I am almost done, the photo is not updated, the sleeves are almost over and I  have to put the applied i-cord (which I never did before). The thing is, it looks completely ridiculous over a 36 weeks pregnant belly! I might wait a few weeks before posting images of the finished object. mais en attendant... Oh, I hate the yarn, by the way, its Phildar and it has some acrylic in it. I bought it ages ago when I started knitting. I also knitted little pants with it, I hope he will like the yarn more than I do!

The last thing I am currently working on with the most amazing yarn is, Margot available on the fall issue of Knitty for free. Or Ravel it!

It is adorable. I can't wait to be over. Another sweater formy post-pregnancy body. This is it! I will be starting some hats later on this week (or next) for my sweet little Antonin, Léonard or Léon. Have a nice week!
